On your arrival you will find a "Welcome" tray laid out with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits, plus 2 bottles of wine (one red, one white) and, if children are included in your party we will also supply a carton of orange juice.

BEDROOMS
One room with double bed and french doors = sleeps 2
One room with double bed = sleeps 2
One room with three single beds = sleeps 3
One room with two single beds - sleeps 2
Additionally the house can accommodate 2 babies (under 2 years old) - proper wooden cots are provided (request these on booking for, please). When both cots are requested we usually place these: One in a double bedroom, one in the triple bedroom. Bottom sheets and light blankets are provided for the cots. Most clients bring their own baby duvets or "nests".
All beds are made up with duvets, duvet covers, fitted base sheets and two pillows per person.
We supply heavy eiderdowns or throws on the beds for out-of-season visitors.
One hand towel and one bath towel provided per person.
Each bedroom has an electric oil-filled radiator.
A good selection of books for your holiday reading are provided in some of the bedrooms.
Hot water bottles are supplied out-of-season.
Each bedroom contains a complimentary box of tissues.

GARDEN
The garden is divided into two parts, and is totally private as it is screened by a high conifer hedge.
1. The lawned area contains mature trees and flower borders. It is securely fenced and gated at both ends. It is a large area so plenty of room for ball games etc. This area also contains a large patio table and chairs, a barbecue, a swing, a small children's slide and a washing line.
2. The pool area contains a poolhouse (with lots of pool toys and inflatables), ample sun loungers with cushions, a patio table and chairs
(plus children's patio set), several sun parasols, plus in the poolhouse there are two fridges for your cold drinks etc.
Please note the pool is open 1st May - 30th September at all other times outside this period it is closed.
The open air pool (10m x 5m) is open from 1st May - 30th September and is maintained weekly in July/August and fortnightly at all other times.
The pool is run on a salt water system - so no smelly chemicals! The pool is accessed by gentle Roman steps into the shallow end - no
nasty steel ladders to climb! The pool area is accessed by a secure gate. The pool is not heated. Max depth is approx 12 feet at deepest end.
BOOKING WITH SMALL CHILDREN?
Please let us know your requirements so that we can ensure the equipment is set out ready for your visit.
We can supply (free of charge) up to two highchairs, and up to two cots (cots supplied are "proper" wooden models not travelcots).
Cot bedding and extra towels can be supplied for guests with babies - please let us know what you will need at the time of booking.
We can also supply (free of charge) a box of toddler toys, potties, a child's step for the bathroom, a baby listening device, and a double pushchair/buggy.
GOLFERS
Guests are welcome to borrow our half set of golf clubs, providing they are left in a clean condition for the next guests.
CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS
The cosy lounge will contain a decorated and lit Christmas tree, and we will provide complimentary chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine. The woodburning stove will be prepared ready for lighting, and CD's of festive music will be waiting in the CD player!
If you take advantage of the extra services offered by our housekeepers (these charges are not included in the normal rental) you will simply be able to arrive, scatter your presents under the tree and relax!
WINTER VISITORS
The beds will be made up with duvets and thick eiderdowns on top for extra warmth. We can also provide electric blankets if requested at the time of booking. The woodburner will be laid and ready for lighting, and the fireplace will contain a complimentary basket of logs (logs thereafter charged at £40 per week), the house will have been pre-warmed with oil filled electric radiators and lamps in all rooms turned on so that you have a cosy welcome to your holiday home.
OTHER SERVICES
Our housekeepers are on hand to give you any help or advice you may need. As well as preparing the Ivy House for your arrival, and cleaning it after your departure, they also offer a myriad of other services, but please note that these extra services must be booked and paid for directly with the housekeeper's own business (Ets Petherick), and do not form any part of your rental costs.
The extra services they offer are:
1. Airport pick ups/drop offs (60€ each way - these MUST be booked well in advance).
2. Mid-stay cleaning (12€ per person per hour - minimum job charge is 36€).
3. Mid stay supply & delivery of fresh bedlinen and towels (8€ per double bed including towels, 5€ per single bed including towels)
4. Evening babysitting service (they bring their own toys and games plus read-aloud books).
5. Pre-arrival shopping - (20€ + cost of your shopping) - you provide the list, they do the rest including putting items away in the fridge/freezer.
6. Pre-arrival meal - Costs depend on requirements, but they can provide platters of cold meats, quiches and salads for summer arrivals,
or home-made soups, pasta bakes and casseroles for winter arrivals. All ready for you to simply heat up when you arrive.
7. Christmas Welcome - we will shop for you according to your own provided list (as at (5) above, and ready for your arrival we will place a festive tray in the kitchen containing mince pies, snacks and nibbles, mulled wine (ready to heat), and a fruit bowl containing nuts, tangerines and dates.
